Dynalink TV Box

Before you buy


Streaming is relating to watching video or listening music directly from the internet, instead of downloading files in your computer.

You will only be charged a monthly
subscription for for services or channels that available from Dynalink Channel Store such as Netflix.

A typical Google services that support Android TV are available on Dynalink TV Box, for example Chromecast, Google Assistant, Google Play, YouTube.
Note:
1. The availability of Android TV Apps is different depending on the country or region.
2. Dynalink TV Box is intended for consumer use and should not be used by developers. The Apps that requires advanced certification are not available on Dynalink TV Box.

Yes. Dynalink has built-In Google Assistant and in Apps voice search. Search for photos, check the weather, and set an alarm. Your life should be simple.

A Dynalink TV box is created to work with one TV
at a time. We recommend getting an extra Dynalink TV box device for additional
TVs.

How do I get started?

Any types of TV with an HDMI connection could be worked with Dynalink TV box.

Dynalink TV box perform well with most broadband service. It is not necessary to have a high-speed internet connection. However, a slow connection may cause video playback issues when streaming.

What more can I do?

You can connect Dynalink to a
smartphone, computer, or tablet via Bluetooth.

We can use box remote control to control TV via HDMI CEC option. The path is : Settings icon in upper right > Apps > See all apps > Droid settings > Open > HDMI CEC > CEC Switch on,

Note: Each manufacturer implements the HDMI-CEC standard in different ways, so devices don't always understand each other and supported features vary between devices. Please refer to below link for Google HDMI CEC behavior to get more information: https://source.android.com/devices/tv/hdmi-cec

We recommend using USB port for power supply. Can’t guarantee Dynalink box can
recognize any extend USB accessory. Please refer the QSG or contact with
customer service if need.

We only recommend use Bluetooth function for Dynalink remote control that in same package. Can’t guarantee Dynalink box can pair any Bluetooth device except the Dynalink remote control. Please refer the QSG or contact with customer service if need.

Dynalink Box support the google ATV play store's applications. But it still depends on where you locate. Ex. Disney+ only supported in US. And some applications may not support for Android TV box.(Ex. Google home)

If you want to change the resolution or display size, the path is: Settings icon in upper right > Apps > See all apps > Droid settings > Open >
Display.

Yes, but there are few things need to know.
1.The power adapter is for USA socket, different country has different socket type.
2.The application may not use due to different country.(Ex. Disney+ only can used in USA.)
3.Some RCU functions may not fully support due to different country.

If your IPTV vender has his own application on Google ATV play
store, it should work.

What is 4K?

4K (K stands for kilo) means the resolution of the TV of approximately 4,000 pixels. It indicates how clarity you can see from your screen. 4K has surpassed the likes of HD and Full HD.

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. HDR screens provide a wider ranger of brightness and colors that making the video more realistic.
Dynalink can’t disable HDR function due to certification requirement.

Yes, please follow the path: Goto "Setting"->"Device Preference"->"Language" and choose what language you want.

Please follow the steps to check update

Step1. Go to settings page then select the “Device Preferences” item.

Step2. Go to the “About” item then select “System update”.

Step3. Press the “Check for update” button to check if there is a newer version
of SW.

Please download the Android TV App from
the Google play store. Ensure the device and the device with Android TV apps
are in the same Wi-Fi network. Find the device name to connect it.

Please follow the following steps to do the factory reset:
Step 1. Go to the "Settings" page, and then select "Device Preferences".
Step 2. Select "About".
Step 2. Select "Factory Reset" to start.
Note: All data will be erased.

Please connect the Micro USB Cable to power on your Dynalink TV
Box.

Step 1. Go to the "Settings"
page, then select the "Connected
Devices
".

Step 2. Select the "Dynalink Remote"
and un-pair it.

Step 3. Press "OK" and
"Vol-" key on the BT
Remote Control to trigger the re-pair process.

Device issues & troubleshooting

Please check if the power cord is fully plugged into the device. If the device still can't be powered on, the power cord may be defective. Please change the power cord and try again.

Press the button on device makes BT pairing again. Follow the steps to pair BT remote
control.

If the steps above cannot solve the issue, please restart the device and try again.

If only Dynalink TV Box cannot connect to Wi-Fi, please ensure the setting to connect
to Wi-Fi is correct. If still not working as expected, try to reset the network
setting of the device.

Please ensure the HDMI cable is fully connected to the TV and the device. If the cable
is fully connected and there is still no video or sound, then the cable may be
defective. Please try using another HDMI cable.


Please reboot the device. After the device’s reboot, check for system and App updates.
If the App is still crashing or not responding, please force stop, clear cache and data, or uninstall and re-install the App.

Please ensure the device is already connected to the internet. If the device is connected to the internet and it is still not working, you may need to re-pair the BT Remote Control:
Step 1. Go to the "Settings" page, then select the "Connected Devices".
Step 2. Select the "Dynalink Remote" and un-pair it.
Step 3. Press "OK" and "Vol-" key on the BT Remote Control to trigger the re-pair process.

Note: If you cannot see "Dynalink Remote" in the "Connected Devices" list, please jump to Step 3 directly.

Please ensure your password is correct. If you forget the password and no longer have access to your Gmail, please use another account and try again.

Please plug and unplug the HDMI cable several times. If it doesn't work, please find another TV/Display set to try again. It may be caused by elder TV or damaged EDID.

Dynalink Box support Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), if you can't connect WiFi AP. Please follow the below steps.
1. Double check your WiFi password is correct.
2. Restart the Dynalink Box and your WiFi AP and try again.
3. Make sure another device can connect the WIFI AP. (Ex. cell phone.)
4. If it doesn't work after step 1/2/3. Please try to factory reset (The path: "Setting"->"Device preference"->"About"->"Factory reset")
5. Contact customer service if step 1/2/3/4 can't fix the issue. Please provide info:
a. Which encryption you use? (Ex. WPA2 / Open)
b. Which band you use? (Ex. 5G/2,4G)
c. What you saw in WiFi list of Box.

Please follow the steps and check again,
1. Check the battery voltage.
2. Make sure the RCU to box close enough when pairing.
3. Goto " Setting"->"Remote & Accessories".
4. Choose the BT remote and choose "Un-pair".
5. Restart the box.
6. Hold "Volume +"(Not Volume “–“) and "OK" key together around 3-4 seconds until the red line blank 3 times.(make the remote factory reset)
7. Follow the pair steps that box indicate.
8. If it doesn't work after step 1->5. Please try to factory reset (The path : "Setting"->"Device preference"->"About"->"Factory reset") of box.
9. Please contact to customer service if it still has issue.

This mechanism will be changed on next SW upgrade. The next update is planning to release in 2021 Q1 by Google OTA update.
